The second largest consumer of polycarbonate sheet is the construction industry, e.g. for domelights, flat or curved glazing, and sound walls, which all use extruded flat solid or multiwall sheet, or corrugated sheet. 4mm and 6mm structured polycarbonate sheet are perfect for greenhouse glass replacements. Polycarbonate is up to 200 X stronger than the equivalent in glass and does not shatter so it is safer than glass. The thicker polycarbonate sheet is great for carports, canopies and conservatories.
